Updated by Dara Lind to Vox on February 17th at 11:51 a.m. there was a leak going around saying that whether or not that 11 governing states were allowed to use the National Guards to enforce the immigration law. This can cause un uproar in the states as to why national guard would be arresting people within the United States. Homeland Security rejected the topic. This topic follows the executive order of President Trump. Causing chaos between families and friends. Leaving people afraid as they are worried about people coming in to arrest them. This was new information about how the National Guard could of been going around to arresting immigrants that were not legal.This can also cause questions about posse comitatus, drawing a sharp line between both the military and domestic law enforcement in America. This can affect the political the arena because it can cause so much tension between the people and government, the states and federal government. It's just a bad idea in general. This causes American to look like it is going to war with America, showing our weakness and how it may be an opportunity for another country to attack.
